Subject         :           AMENDMENTS ON NEW GUIDELINES FOR PET HANDLING IN TRAG

This is to inform you that, in the regular meeting held last Wednesday, July 24, 2019, the TRAG Board of Trustees, after due deliberation, decided to amend Numbers 8, 9, and 13 of the new guidelines on pets to address issues on existing pets in TRAG Common areas as follows:

8.    Pets in ZIPPED-UP FULLY-COVERED hand-carried case/bag or pet pouch/stroller CAN USE ALL ELEVATORS and CAN ENTER AND        EXIT THE TRAG COMPLEX THROUGH THE LOBBY, SERVICE ENTRANCE (LOADING DOCK), OR BRIDGEWAY.

         However, when using the passenger elevators, the unit owners/handlers should first ask permission from the persons already inside if it is okay with them to ride with pets.  Consequently, when they are already inside the elevator, they cannot be required to get off by the next passenger about to enter. This time, the last passenger will have to wait for the next elevator if he/she cannot tolerate pets.

9.     Pets which are NOT in zipped up fully-covered hand-carried case/bag or pet pouch/stroller MUST BE MUZZLED AND ON LEASH  AT ALL TIMES and CAN ONLY USE THE SERVICE ELEVATOR AND  CAN ENTER AND EXIT THE TRAG COMPLEX THROUGH THE SERVICE ENTRANCE (LOADING DOCK) OR BRIDGEWAY.

13.   Pets that are declared nuisance;

i.                    TRAGCC shall declare a pet a nuisance if it makes persistent and excessive noise that bothers the neighbors.

                                    ii.            Upon receipt of any reasonable written complaint from two or more residents, TRAGCC reserves the right to require the pet owner to remove from TRAG any pet which the management finds to be a nuisance.

May we also remind all pet owners/handlers that pets are not allowed to pee and poo in all common areas and in all perimeters of TRAG.

For strict and immediate compliance.
